Abbey Weiss: Owner/Founder of Lucky Showpads

Hey all!

My name is Abbey Weiss and I am the creator/owner of Lucky Showpads! I created this company, because I have a slight saddle pad obsession and decided to turn it into my full-time job.

I have shown horses since I was 9 years old, having competed in numerous disciplines and shown countless breeds: Arabians, Quarter Horses, Saddlebreds, and Morgans to name a few! Currently you will see me competing at some of the NRHA events.

It's just me over here, so when I say "we," I mean me! My mission with this company is to put quality first and keep costs as low as possible for my customers. All pads are original designs that are fully hand-created by myself.

Behind the name:

I chose the name Lucky because it had sentimental meaning. My very first horse was an American Saddlebred named "Worthy's Wish Me Luck!" He taught me everything I know from cleaning stalls to learning how to show!

Later I fell in love with reining, where I leased my first ever reining horse, a half-Arabian named "Lucky." He taught me the ropes of the working western world.

Between these two Lucky boys, I knew this had to be the name for my company.
